We test you, we don’t guess
No “businesses like yours typically lose…”. We enquire as a real customer, time the reply, and screenshot it. Where a number is an estimate, it’s labelled as one.
Lead Leak Check · £299 · anywhere in Cornwall
You know you’re losing jobs you never heard about. You don’t know which ones, or why. We find out the only way that counts: by getting in touch as a customer would, and recording what actually happened. Then we sit down with you and show you.
The Lead Leak Check is a £299 in-person audit for Cornwall trade firms. We send real test enquiries through your website, phone and WhatsApp, time your replies, review your website and Google listing, then sit down with you to agree the top three fixes. You keep the written report, and the £299 comes off anything built for you within 30 days.

Not a review of your whole business. Just the gap between someone wanting to hire you and you knowing about it. That’s what Kernow.ai does.
Sat at your kitchen table or in your yard, from a St Austell base. Forty years in the trades before software, so it’s a conversation, not a presentation.
How it works
Once you’ve booked, sometime before we meet we’ll send a genuine-looking enquiry through the routes your customers use: your website form, a phone call, and WhatsApp or Facebook if you’re on them. A realistic small job for your trade and your town. We won’t tell you when. We time how long you take to reply, what you say, and whether you’d have won the job. We ring once in working hours and once out of hours. The moment you reply, we tell you it was the check. No guesswork, just what happened.
We go through your website on a phone: can someone find your number and send an enquiry in under thirty seconds? We run it for broken links, dead forms, out-of-date pages and placeholder text. We search for your trade in your town the way a customer does, logged out, and note where you show on Google, what your listing says, when your last review was, and who comes up ahead of you. Every finding gets a dated screenshot.
We come to you, anywhere in Cornwall. Over a cuppa, we show you exactly what happened when we tested you and what we found, worst first. We ask about your numbers — enquiries a month, average job, who answers the phone — and use those, not ours. Then we agree the three things worth fixing first, with what each is worth written down and labelled as an estimate. We mark which ones you can do yourself for free. If you use AI anywhere in the firm, you leave with our free staff AI policy template too. No slides, and no pressure.
The report is yours. Plenty of what we find you can sort yourself, and we’ll show you how. If enquiries are slipping through because you’re on the tools, we can set you up with Foredesk: an assistant on your website that answers customers from your own information, captures every enquiry you can’t get to, and texts you straight away. You stay in control — it only says what you’ve agreed it can say. Whatever we fix for you, go ahead within 30 days and your £299 comes off the price. Thirty days after it goes live, we run the same test again and show you the before and after.
What you get for £299
The promise
The whole point of this is that it’s real. If your enquiry handling is solid, the report says so and that’s worth knowing. If it isn’t, you see the evidence yourself before anyone suggests a fix. Where a figure is worked out rather than measured, it says “estimate” next to it.
We also only build something for you if it fixes an actual leak, and if it can be built to the standard we build everything to. If the honest answer is “do these three free things and you’re fine”, that’s the answer you’ll get.
While you wait
What one actually does, whether it is worth it, why most quietly go out of date, and who is liable when one invents a price.

No — and since April 2025 it is illegal, not just frowned on. What the ban covers, what you can still ask customers to do, and how to get real reviews without the risk.
